MYRNA GAWRYN directs, and provides training and consultation to the animation industry and educational institutions internationally in the area of acting, character performance, movement, physical behavior and story, and structure.
IN ALL INSTANCES, SHE DELIVERS a potent, usable combination of discussion, reference, theory, observation, shot consultation and applicable physical experience.
IN COLLABORATION with department heads, lead animators and directors, Myrna targets physical story telling, acting, and movement issues specific to the project, curriculum and team of artists she is working with.
MASTERCLASSES AND CONSULTATION
EACH MASTERCLASS IS COMPOSED of powerful, easily accessible components which provide and instigate new ways of thinking, approaching preparation, and producing work for artists and teams at
all levels.
EACH SESSION DELIVERS long term, usable techniques for creating clear story, and emotionally and physically articulate character peformance in any venue or platform.
EACH CONSULTATION is tailored specifically to the material and artists involved, and in collaboration with the leadership and supervision onsite.
